Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s little siblings is the same one Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

Since I know there’s going to be a lot of hate directed towards this show due to the ups and downs of recent Star Wars, I’m happy to say this is an up. So far…
Again, nothing new, but it’s still intriguing and I’m excited to keep watching it
The first 2 episodes aren’t new, or very original, but that’s not a bother as it delivers well on everything. The cast and their acting are great, the costume and set design are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the writing, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good.
It gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes
As someone who hasn’t enjoyed recent Star Wars, Skeleton Crew surprised me. I hope everyone who is even slightly interested, or even annoyed with recent shows, gives it a chance.
